1. What VOCO provides

VOCO is a web-based language learning tool that lets you learn vocabulary from YouTube videos through interactive subtitles, AI-powered explanations, and spaced repetition review.

2. Your account

You can use VOCO without creating an account. If you sign in with Google, you agree to provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use VOCO for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or interfere with the service.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or overload the service.
  • Redistribute or resell access to VOCO.

4. Content

VOCO displays subtitles from YouTube videos. We do not host or redistribute video content. AI-generated explanations are provided for educational purposes and may not always be accurate. VOCO is not responsible for the accuracy of AI translations or explanations.

5. Premium subscriptions

VOCO offers a Premium subscription with the following terms:

  • Pricing: Current prices are shown on the pricing page and confirmed at checkout before any payment. Prices are in USD and exclude any applicable taxes.
  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period using your saved payment method, until you cancel.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel anytime from the billing portal accessible in your account. After cancellation, you keep Premium access until the end of the current billing period — no early termination charges.
  • Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge.
  • Price changes: We may update pricing for new subscribers. Existing subscribers keep their current price for the duration of their active subscription.
  • Payment processing: Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never store or have access to your card details.
  • Data after cancellation: Your saved vocabulary and review progress are preserved indefinitely after cancellation. You can continue using the Free tier or resubscribe at any time.

6. Service availability

We strive to keep VOCO available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or updates. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.

7. Intellectual property

VOCO, its design, and its code are the property of the VOCO team. Your saved vocabulary and personal data remain yours — you can delete them at any time, or request a copy by email.

8. Limitation of liability

VOCO is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, inaccurate translations, or service interruptions.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of VOCO after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
